'Summer Sunday' Blazer

Description

Sunday best is what is worn on festive occasions and important events.

Crafted from a cool wool and silk cloth, the blazer is lined with a black and white striped fabric.

The boxy cut is characterised by a wide lapel and the absence of a collar, while there are two front pockets closed by a flap.

The light colour of the fabric recalls the tuff and sandstone conglomerates found in Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio, whose lightness is contrasted by the roughness of the cool wool and silk.

The raw cuts represent the break with those elements that have forced man to live as masters of nature. The reversed seams represent Chthonia, the afterlife, the natural continuation of life after death.

All materials come from unsold stock recovered in the Prato textile district
